You'll be surprised what we get up to Elmsett Airfield! We regularly hold two days annually when we invite all sorts of people to join in the fun for both ground and air based events.

Open Day 20th September 2008:
A chance to participate in many activities both on the ground and in the air. We're bringing back the "Barnstorming" feel to the air-side with a big emphasis on participation for all you pilots out there!

There'll be competitions such as the now infamous "breakfast patrol", flour bombing, spot landing, balloon bursting, navigation competition, defect spotting, and then there's attractions such as streamer cutting, limbo, the "Ted Devils" (parachuting Teddy Bears), and a whole host more!

An air display is included - with different display lines to what we've had in the past - even more exciting...

Trial lessons can be taken too.

On the ground we have modified cars and competitions for them too, and a massive craft fair; food, drink, stalls and kiddies rides and competitions complete the picture for a fantastic day out!
